rectform

Converts supported polar complex forms toward rectangular form.

Nerdamer recognizes exponential polar forms and rewrites them with cosine and sine components. If no exact identity is available, an evaluable complex expression can be returned in rectangular form.

Examples

These examples use Nerdamer Notation.

Convert an exact polar exponential back to rectangular form.

rectform(sqrt(34)*e^(i*atan(3/5)))
// → 5+3*i
