gamma_incomplete
Computes the upper incomplete gamma function.
gamma_incomplete(a,z) represents Γ(a,z). Positive integer values of a are expanded exactly with the finite-sum identity; other inputs remain symbolic.
Examples
These examples use Nerdamer Notation.
Use the simplest positive-integer case.
gamma_incomplete(1,x)
// → e^(-x)Expand the upper incomplete gamma function for a higher positive integer.
gamma_incomplete(3,x)
// → 2*e^(-x)*(1+x+(1/2)*x^2)Show the finite polynomial multiplying the exponential for a=4.
gamma_incomplete(4,x)
// → 6*e^(-x)*(1+x+(1/2)*x^2+(1/6)*x^3)Interfaces
