degrees

Converts an angle in radians to degrees exactly.

degrees(x) multiplies the input by 180/pi. Symbolic inputs remain exact.

Examples

These examples use Nerdamer Notation.

Convert pi radians to 180 degrees.

degrees(pi)
// → 180

Convert an exact rational multiple of pi.

degrees(2*pi/3)
// → 120

Keep a symbolic radian measure exact.

degrees(x)
// → 180*x*pi^-1
